Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is the newest game from the Call of Duty franchise. Activation partnered with Sledgehammer Games to develop the new FPS. First, lets start with some of the new features. The first thing i noticed when i started playing the game was Special Ops. If you have not played this yet since you have gotten the game i suggest you do. It involves "Special Ops" missions in which you and a partner try to complete a task without dying or before a time limit, some of them are very challenging! Before you start i suggest playing with someone you know, if you play online, people 9 times out of 10 leave if they get downed. Basically you invite your friend, pick and an op and go. I believe there are 24 different Special Ops mission, all requiring you to complete different objectives. Aside from that you can play survival mode! This is a fantastic feature of the game.  Like Spec Ops, you can play with a friend or play online, but i suggest you play with a friend people online quit when they get downed. The objective of the game is to survive as long as you can. Like Spec Ops there are 24 different levels that take place in different locations. You start out with just a pistol, in the first level you are faced with 6-10 easy to kill enemies. You get experience points when you kill enemies, and the higher the round the harder it is to survive, but you get more xp per kill. Don't worry though, there are 3 different boxes you can go to, to get different equipment to help you out, but it costs you xp. First the gun and ammo box. This box contains every weapon in the game and every attachment in the game that you can use at your disposal. You can also refill all your ammo there at a price. The next box is a kill streak box. This contains 5 kill streaks that can help you out, and you can get care packages that have perks in them as well. You can get a Predator Missile, Airstrike and a Delta Squad just to name a few. These will help you out throughout the game. The final box is the grenade box. This is where you can refill your primary and secondary grenade, you can also but explosives to help fend off enemies. These explosives include C4, rpg's and special grenades. Here you can also buy sentry guns, one that is a regular LMG on a tripod, and one that shoots grenades. Remember, everything you buy costs you in game money, the only way to get money is killing enemies. All of the levels also have a "challenge", this could be Juggernauts, Claymore Experts, Bomb Squads, and even Poison Specialists. These levels are more challenging then the regular levels, but your get more of a reward when you kill the enemies. At the end of each round you are given a bonus based on you performance in the round, you get more points the quicker you complete the round. When you die, your final score is calculated and put on the leader boards. I don't really want to touch on the campaign at all because i feel like it would spoil it for people who have not played it yet. i played it through once, but the story line and the game play is very good, i hope you guys reading this get a chance to play the campaign. Now on to the downfall of the game. Multiplayer. This is the worst Call of Duty Multiplayer yet. They used the exact same engine as in MW2, and whoever the host is gets an advantage over the other players. I do not feel like they have changed anything with the game, i feel like i am playing MW2 all over again. All of the guns suck, most of them are unfair, like the Type 95. That gun is a 1 burst kill all of the time you don't have a chance. The maps are terrible, there is so much camping and head glitching that you do not even have a chance if you walk into a room. There are a few new game types, but they are bad. The spawning system is still bad, it is very easy to spawn trap and be spawn trapped. Now to the very few pluses. The matchmaking is better than Black Ops so that makes the game more enjoyable, until you get into a game of domination and your team is being spawn trapped. One of the things that i like most about the game is sniping, i like the feel of it. All the snipers are good, so i feel like i am playing CoD 4 in a good way. Besides that i can't say anything else about the game that is good. I hope this blog has enlightened your experience of the game, and has persuaded you about some of the features of the game.
